What a great band! The overall experience was EXCELLENT! This was my first time booking a band and from start to finish the band was helpful, accommodating, and courteous. They came all dressed up and looked marvelous! We booked them for our Client Christmas Party and all of our clients loved them just as much as we did. They did a lot of requests and made all of the guests feel part of the party! Thank you so much for making our party a hit!

The group was fantastic and everyone at the party came up to me and said " Where on earth did you find this band, they are the best we have ever had at our reunions ", and I ought to know as I hired all of them. Thanks for making me look like a hero and like I did something great for my classmates.
The band knew every song requested and closed the night with an old favorite from when we were all in high school..Harlem Nocturn..

My mother's 95th birthday party was a great hit with the band Melodaires, they played all the music that she liked. The band was very professional,on time and played for 4 hours. I would have them play again for me and would highly recommend for your next party. Great jobs guys and thanks again my mom is still talking about the music.

We had the Melodaires perform at our daughter's wedding reception on 03-06-09....they were a hit! They came decked out in tuxes--they looked great and their music was wonderful! Very retro, big band....they were enjoyed by all! Clare Alexander (the leader of the band) was wonderful to work with...easy to contact and very willing to play to our requests! We can without reservation recommend the Melodaires!

Absolutely fantastic band! They rocked my wedding reception, and boy did they rock it good. Every last one of my guests was in awe as to how good they were. They played every single song requested and much much more. They showed up before the time required with their own exceptional sound equipment and played hard all the way to the last minute. These cats are all the way live! You just don't come across bands like this everyday...don't pass this band up. You will not be let down, I promise. Thanks again guys!

The band was wonderful. They arrived early to set up and even started early. They were dressed appropriately and played the perfect mixture of music. The band was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I hired them to play our wedding. Our guests raved about the band and were very impressed. Clare was more than willing to help with song selection and was even willing to learn new songs. We highly recommend Melodaires.

Melodaires Band was the perfect choice for our daughter's wedding. They were not only wonderful and accomplished musicians, they played just the right music and played to our small group just as if we were a large crowd. They interacted with all of our guests and each other in an easy, humorous manner. Everyone in attendance, young and old, commented on how much they enjoyed the band, and not just their music, which was phenomenol, but their personalities.
All members dressed in tuxedoes and presented as very professional and accomodated a last minute change of the keyboardist being asked to move his equipment between the ceremony and reception, which was very much appreciated.
We would definately recommend them for any function, small or large, and hope to have the opportunity to use their services again sometime.

This band was fabulous !!!! We hired them for a 50th Anniversary party. I had no idea about hiring a live band. They were on time, dressed up, played beautifully, and even added a bit of humor to the evening. Many of the guests (young and older) came to me throughout the evening to tell me how awesome the band was. I highly recommend the Melodaires, and I would definitly call them again if I need a band !!! Thanks Clare and the rest of the band !

This band was wonderful! They were very talented, had a great variety of songs, and were more than happy to do any requests. Their music was just perfect for our 90th birthday party. Our mom said it was the perfect band. they were not to loud, so we could visit while they played. we danced, enjoyed listening, and had perfect 'background' music while we ate. I would not hesitate to have them again.

Clare was incredible with follow-up and follow through. He worked with our list of songs, our schedule, our long-distance situation, our location, EVERYTHING. I am sure with the sax their talent would have increased even more (but our budget and venue were too small!!). We appreciated their talent, professionalism, promptness, and flexibility. They've been playing for 50 years and they know that music makes the party. Our celebration wouldn't have been a success without them!!!

I can't begin to describe the awesome experience we had with then band under the directi8on of "Doc" Chaney. They came two hours early to set up, all had awesome personalities and the talent was beyond anything I could have expected. This was for my father in laws surprse 70th birthday and he was in the band in the navy. He wished they could have stayed longer. This band exceeded my expectations. Our company Christmas party was a hit and everyone enjoyed themselves. The band played the era of music that I requested and they were awesome. I would definetley hire them again and refer them to anyone. Their gig bid fit very well within our budget and we absolutely got more for our money. Great Job Guys!

The Melodaires were wonderful! Everyone loved them and commented to me after (and during) the party how much they enjoyed them. I think they turned out to be the perfect performers for this party. They played the exact type of music this crowd wanted to hear and played it well, and every song encouraged dancers to the floor, which made the party loads of fun for all.

The band exceeded my expectations. They were wonderful. They made my wedding reception the coolest one ever, and not just for me, everyone else thought so too. We found the Melodaires very entertaining, accommodating and fun. Everyone in attendance enjoyed their music (oldies) even though they were of mixed ages. Because of inclement weather we had to hold our party indoors and the band held the volume down so that we could talk and visit in a pleasant environment. The Melodaires Band was very accommodating, by asking for song preferences, which most often they were able to play in expertise style.
They arrived and were set up well in advance of the contracted time.
The great vocal accompaniment to the music added the perfect touch to the enjoyment of the song.
