Since being signed to the Blujazz record label, their first release 'Nothing Smooth About It' hit #13 on the College Music Journal Charts and #34 on the National Jazz Charts and received rave reviews form the jazz community. WBEZ in Chicago named the CD one of the Top 20 Jazz Releases in 2004.
The second release, "Comin' Straight At Ya'!" DEBUTED at #12 on the College Music Journal Charts and was deemed 'ChartBound' by NPR/Jazz Week National Jazz Charts one month after it's release!
Their 3rd CD, 'LIVE', was favorably reviewed in DownBeat magazine and was debuted by a CD Release Party at the famous Jazz Showcase.
Fabulous reviews have followed in AllAboutJazz (LA, SanFran, OC) and JazzImprov Magazine and excitedly the band awaits a review in the prestigous DownBeat Magazine (March '07 issue). They can be heard across the country and in Canada on over 100 NPR stations as well as on Music Choice Satellite Network jazz station and XM radio.

Currently, they are the featured performers for the Odyssey Cruise Ship Moonlight Jazz Series as well as Weekend Jazz Brunch cruises, and rotate performances amongst some of the most popular jazz clubs here in Chicago, currently enjoying another run at Andy's, where they were the featured headliners on Thursday nights, November '07 ~ April '08.
The fellas also had their 'brush with fame' when Jennifer Aniston hired them for her personal 'The Break Up' wrap party in the Summer of 2005 here in Chicago.
Playing a range of jazz classics from the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Dexter Gordon to modern day sounds of such artists as Branford Marsalis and Michael Brecker to original compositions, guests will enjoy the best jazz music performed by some of Chicago's most well known and respected players.
Though mostly booked for their energetic, interpretive mainstage performance style, they are also more than happy to play as background music when appropriate. From a large corporate gathering to an intimate wedding cocktail hour, from large jazz festivals to ecclectic corner clubs, this group has around-the-world experience and intimate atmosphere adaptability offering a wonderful addition to any event they play.
This group is available as a duo up through a sextet with many instrumentation options.
