WeddingReviewed on April 26, 2008From Providence, RI

Suzanne and her trio did a marvelous job at our wedding. The music, which I left entirely to her to choose, was perfect for our occasion. They provided intimate background music and also music people could also dance to. I would highly recommend her trio for any occasion!

Graduation PartyReviewed on August 25, 2007From Southborough, MA

During the period prior to the party, Suzanne was communicative and engaging. She arrived with the trio well in advance of the time agreed for the start of the music in order to survey the scene and set up for optimal sound quality. The evening's musical program progressed as we had discussed, and each set was better than the prevous one. Our guests were delighted with the music, and there was no quesiton that the party was "made" by the caliber of the trio. Many thanks to uzanne and the guygs, we will hope to see you soon!

We absolutely loved Suzanne Davis and I believe the other gentleman Bruno. Thank you for making our wedding ambiance amazing! We loved the song with Cathie (Starting Here, Starting Now) - thank you! Amy & Ryan

Suzanne Davis was extremely professional, reliable, and easy to work with, and her trio added an aura of elegance and breeziness to my outdoor wedding reception. I have to admit that of all the details associated with my wedding, I probably gave the least amount of attention to the music, but that was ok because Suzanne took care of everything. I would recommend her with great enthusiasm.

Anniversary PartyReviewed on April 29, 2007From Springfield, MA

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a party for friends and family. We wanted everything to be elegant, and first rate. While we received many compilments on the venue, the food and the flowers, but the most wonderful comments we received were on the music. The Suzanne Davis Trio was absolutely FANTASTIC. We couldn't have chosen a better group to provide the music for our party. Their performance at the party was SUPERB. It was more then my wife and I ever imagined. We both feel the music "made" the party. Several profession musicians were at the party and they were just as complimentary at how well the trio played - the musicianship was outstanding. When we needed background music during the cocktail and dinner hours, the music was just the right volume for allowing conversation at the tables. When it came time for dancing the trio provided a wonderful mix of slow and fast dance selections and they played every request we made. People were coming up to us and asking where they were from or where/how did I find them. They were saying the trio was fantastic, excellent, unbelievable and absolutely the best they had heard at a party. You can not go wrong in hiring the Suzanne Davis Trio. They are the most professional and accomodating group of musicans I have ever dealt with. I look forward to hiring them again. We only wish the party and the music lasted longer.

It was a very special day! and in many ways because of the wonderful jazz band we had at the wedding!! Suzanne and the guys were awesome!! everybody simply loved them!! they played the tunes i requested, and the rest of teh musice was amazing! no doubt they are all so very talented and so careful and attentive to the "customer"! we could fully rely on them in the choice of the most number of songs and they performed brilliantly! they all were so sympathetic and nice too... i strongly recommend Suzanne Davis band for all jazz-lovers and lovers of great music and excellent performance! anna & brian

WeddingReviewed on August 24, 2008From Georgetown, MA

Suzanne, while prompt in returning e-mails I found to be rude and passed off communications with her to my fiance. We had only 4 requests for our entire wedding and 3 of the 4 were wrong. Parents song was announced as the anniversary dance. Anniversary dance was not announced at all! Our first dance, which we spent 6 weeks taking lessons for, was half the beat we'd discussed, expected and been promised. Worst part of my wedding... had all I could do not to cry through the dance or just stop dancing altogether. There was no backup plan for during breaks, just awkward silence. Nice band for background music and no requests.

Wow... I had no idea the client was so unhappy! I certainly did not intend to be rude, and am puzzled as to what comments were taken for rudeness. I tried to be as helpful as possible in addressing the bride's concerns. We played all 4 of the bride's requests (they were correct and I doublechecked them as I always do before an event.) We also took pains to play the first dance at 80 bpm (I even brought a metronome to the gig) The bride did not ask for a "backup plan" during breaks, and usually people don't ask for one. We were not told to announce a "parents' song."or anniv. We were told to announce a special dance for married couples. Which we did!
