Konkoction Reviews

Konkoction performed at my parent's 30th anniversary party, which was in a loft in NYC with about 60 attendees ranging from people in their 20s to people in their 60s/70s. The band was perfect - they are easy to work with, responsive, friendly, and incredible performers. They played quieter jazz during the beginning of the party, and then when people wanted to dance they played a bunch of cover songs, many of which we had requested in advance, ranging from Van Morrison to Whitney Houston to Jackson 5. They were absolutely amazing and everyone at the party was asking how we found them. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Konkoction for your next event.

If I didn't leave this feedback before, I would like to state for the record that Konkoction was an AMAZING addition to our party. They partied with our guests and made everyone feel the life of the "New Orleans -- Mardi Gras"-themed event that we were hosting. We would DEFINITELY recommend them, and would LOVE to hire them again. They were prompt in arrival and probably stayed later than they were scheduled to stay. An OVERALL HIT!!

Konkoction was excellent. My sister and I threw a surprised 70th Birthday bash for our father in December. Prior to the event we spoke several times with the group's leader to discuss the type of music we would like during and in between sets. They were very accommodating and tour guests loved their music. The lead vocalist got raved reviews and the band kept the party going. They were able to cater to both the older and mid-aged guests. This band was EXCELLENT!!!!! My daughter hired them for my 50th birthday bash on 8/29/15 and they were the best! Friendly, on-time, easy to work with and they sounded AWESOME!!! My friends are still talking about them and many have asked for their number. I highly recommend Konkoction! I can't wait to have another event!

Konkoction is a great band I would highly recommend. We hired them for my fiancés milestone birthday and we loved them. They covered all our needs and wishes in terms of the diverse music list, attire, flexibility on time extension, positioning of band in venue, and allowing a guest to perform with them. They are truly a nice bunch of people. But most of all, they ROCK. Each musician is a great talent in his/her own right. And Mika? Oh yea! A fabulous voice. Bottom line, they are just what every party needs to bring the energy and groove to a party and get people on the dance floor. Got big kudos from the guests. Classy, cool, the best. Book them!

great band. They were real troopers in that we had an outside party and a lot of rain early. We set up tents and they played all night. Fantastic band, took requests, and Mika had an amazing voice. They traveled from Brooklyn to our home in the Philly area. Would hire them again in an instant.

i booked Konkoction for my mothers 70th birthday party and the were a BIG HIT!!!! They showed up early, and were dressed really nice. They were very professional and accommodating to me and my guest. The music was really amazing. This band blew it out the water. They played all different types of genres to please every last one of my guest. The singers voice was like silk and she can sing like no other. The band played so well that every guest that walked in wanted to know where i found them and how can they book them for their next event. They made my party so much more elegant. And the price was great. im definitely using them again and again and recommend them
