Judy is a piano Performance and Pedagogy graduate from Carnegie Mellon University-Pittsburgh, Pa. She provides special ambiance to each party/performance that she plays for. Each performance is treated as the unique event that it is as she hand picks songs that fit the occasion and what the client wants. Her repertoire covers the American songbook, contemporary, standards, country, new age, Broadway, movie and children's music, classical and semi-classical and light jazz. She can bring her own keyboard if a piano is not available. In addition to standard piano settings, it has the ability to replicate pipe, church and jazz organ; strings; classical, grand and jazz piano and harpsichord. Some of the venues she has played are churches, temples, country clubs, hospitals, office locations, nursing/residential homes, as well as restaurants and wine bars. Her client list includes Saint Joan of Arc, Cleveland Clinic, Club at Key Center, Cleveland Museum of Art, Club at Hillbrook, Chagrin Valley Athletic Club, Chagrin Country Club, Glidden House, National City Bank, Cystic fibrosis, Adoption Network, Amasa Stone Chapel, Wild Wood Cultural Center and Park, Parker Hannifin Corp., Hawthorne Country Club, Playhouse Square, Ritz Carlton, Renaissance, Marriot, South Point Hospital, The Cleveland Yachting Club, Walden Country Club, Rosemont Country Club (Akron), Behind The Woods Restaurant, Gerevasi Vinyard, Lakewood Country Club and many private parties. Judy Ann was selected by Paul Williams to accompany him in Cleveland at the international Film Festival 2012. Judy is also a teacher in the musical arts program at the School of Music at the University of Akron, OH. She plays at Beechbrook in September every year for the opening board members dinner in Pepper Pike. Ohio. She also plays every Easter at Kirkland Country Club, Kirkland Ohio. She was also selected to play at Carnegie Mellon Alumni Recruit luncheon in 2016. Judy performs yearly for Christmas at the Yacht Club for veterans in Rocky River Ohio, as well as plays piano for St. Joan of Arc in Chagrin Falls Ohio. Judy will play for wedding rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, church wedding ceremonies, showers, anniversaries, birthdays, holiday parties, fund raisers, black tie, bar and bat Mitzvahs, wine tastings etc. Judy is also available for community theater and nursing home performances. She has excellent references and demo-CD's are available. She is able to sight read and can accompany singers, instrumentalists, Broadway shows - even on short notice - as well as being the featured performer. Judy can also acquire the specific songs that you'd like to be played at your event. She can been seen many weekends at Walden Country Club's Red Barn dining room in Aurora, Ohio. She also accompanies singers for weddings and can do this on a very short notice. She loves to travel to jobs (with or without her piano) to many cities both in Ohio or out of state. Carnegie Mellon selected her to play for their alumni and new students luncheon this past July at Breezy Bluff Mansion in Bratenahl, Ohio. She recently played for Center for Health Innovation in Cleveland. She is also the pianist for the Euclid Symphony Orchestra. She is about to play for the Hyatt Place Grand Opening in the Legacy Village. Cleveland Clinic Performing Arts Program Hillcrest Arboretum has asked her to play for them as well. She's also starting to play for more residential homes and hospices. She has also played for Beechbrook. Judy Ann also plays rehearsals and performances for community theaters, such as Bye Bye Birdie at the Palace Theater. She also recently rehearsed for a girl who got a callback for a Broadway show! She will also be teaching piano at Great Lakes Music School in Cleveland and will be working at Aurora Community Theater as an accompanist. As a professional musician, Judy also specializes in teaching piano classes for both in-home visits and at schools as a substitute teacher (including children and adults). Judy Ann is a member of the Chagrin Falls Chamber of Commerce has played Country Club in Erie Amasa Stone Chapel in Cleveland and Intercontinental Hotel in Cleveland. Judy Ann also performs at the Hilton in Akron, OH as well as Rocky River. Judy Ann's Piano Studio has been selected for the 2020 Best of Pepper Pike Awards in the category of Piano Instructor.
