I would like to give a little background of myself to depict what type of service I give. I have been excited about event speaking ever since I joined the Boy Scouts when I was 10 years old. How would I know that I wanted to do that when I was that age, you may ask? Well, my dad used to literally lug my brother and I all over the city of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs getting us to sell popcorn to local business owners. We had our speeches down pact, but it seemed like every time that I did the speech was a new time. I didn't feel like I felt anymore comfortable doing it the first time or the last time, but I knew that I had wanted to get better. Throughout the years I had taken on more and more responsibility, slowly but surely building up my confidence with public speaking. I dreamed of becoming an event speaker for a long time, and when I entered into college, I sought out opportunities to fulfill my dreams.

I am one that loves the spotlight and attention, especially when I have something inspirational and exciting to tell people. I enrolled into the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in August of 2009, and in 2010, I enrolled for a degree in communication through the Liberal Arts and Science Degree. That same year, I became a Residential Advisor and through that position, I was able to lead several events with my public speaking skills and abilities. I was also able to facilitate many meetings and programs, literally hundreds of them. Over the summertime, I signed up to work at Boy Scout Camp. Through that position, I was able to further explore and develop my love for the stage being apart of songs and song leading, skits and stories, and even inspirational quotes and words of encouragement to audiences of over 600. I did that for 3 consecutive summers.

My crowning achievement was when I was elected to become the Service and Leadership Chair for the National Residence Hall Honorary at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Boy, was I thrilled to show my talent. Through that position, I was able to lead and facilitate programs to help students with their leadership skills and put on other service-oriented activities around campus; the biggest of them being the St. Baldrick's Event. I was called to be the Lead Event Organizer for our campus for St. Baldrick's Foundation, and worked with an Event Coach. Through that event, I hosted, gathered members, planned shavee times, bought and budgeted supplies and materials, coordinated fundraising efforts, and much much more. Hosting that event for the two or so hours was the world to me, and helped me to realize even further that the stage is where I want to be.

I use my work to gather together audiences from different cultures and backgrounds under one common theme, be it philanthropy, reunions, religious activities. I also know how to liven up a crowd from my experience on camp staff for 3 years with the Boy Scouts. I seek to warm the hearts of many, and hope that you utilize my services to spread joy to the hearts of many!
