Cadaques is an Austin,Texas-based fusion band of Spanish flamenco tradition with Afro-Cuban rhythms - all underscored with snappy beat that push the Cadaques dance vibe. Frontman and virtuoso guitarist Hector Vasquez writes original compositions and sings in Spanish. Jayme Munoz (lead guitarist) and Steve Metz (Cajon) add to the upbeat latin sound. And when needed, percussionist Danny Mendoza provides the perfect percussive rhythm to compliment. Bass player Nick Lewis can be added to the mix to push the mix to 11! We are available as a soloist, duo, trio, or quartet and larger band! Hector often performs romantic solo flamenco pieces for weddings and other special occasions.
