Our group of 70 loved The Brennans song choices, pretty harmonies, excellent musicianship and, most of all, their sense of humor. We hope we can see them again in the future.
"The Brennans" is an Irish and Bluegrass Family Band consisting of Bridget Brennan and her daughters, Veronica and Bernadette, on guitar, fiddle and bass and featuring Riley Brennan on banjo or bodhran.
The Brennans play Irish, Bluegrass, Celtic and Folk Music. At Fall Festivals they'll teach the audience to dance the Virginia Reel. They are busiest around St. Patrick's Day, when they can be found at pubs, parties and gatherings. They are also in demand at historic re-enactments and fairs because of their repertoire of the music of Irish immigrants to the United States. Dressed in period costume, hoop skirts, bonnets, (except Riley) and playing music the Irish brought to Pioneer California, they present a beautiful picture and a fun show. Photo slideshow has recent as well as past band performances - the girls have literally grown up on stage!
Past customers include San Juan Capistrano Mission, Heritage Hill Historical Park, The Norbertines of St. Michael's Abbey, the Carmelite Sisters in Duarte, McKenna College in Claremont, Palomar College, Pasadena Waldorf Educators, the Presentation Sisters in Orange, the City of Mission Viejo, West Valley Church of God, Santiago de Compostela in Lake Forest, St. Norbert's in Orange, Sts. Simon and Jude in Huntington beach, Maggie's Pub in Santa Fe Springs, Molly Bloom's Irish pub in San Clemente, and many Knights of Columbus fundraisers around the county. In addition to their Irish and Bluegrass music, Bridget, Riley and the girls also sing in the Diocesan Choir at Christ Cathedral and the St. John the Baptist Latin Mass Choir in Costa Mesa.
Thank you very much!
