Papo Pepin's Orchestra Yimbaraco Salsa Band from New York City, NY

The lengendary Master Percussionist Papo Pepin has performed and recorded with some of the greatest musicians in the salsa music history. Tito Puente, Mario Bausa,The Machito Orchestra,Chico O'Farrell's Afro Cuban Orchestra,Mark Anthony,La India,Celia Cruz,Willie Colon and about 80 other well known artist. Papo Pepin also recorded in the sound track of the movie "The Mambo Kings" and recently appeared in the Jennifer Lopez Production of "El Cantante." Papo Pepin released two CD's "Al Natural and Ponte en Vela." Vermon Bogg's "Salsalogy" book on Afro-caribbean music, devoted an entire chapter to Papo Pepin. His fans are global. He's presently conducting three of his own bands. All musical arrangments are original. Papo Pepin's Orchestra Yimbaraco consist of ten musicians and his Mambo ensemble consist of seven. He also has a small quintet.They're presently performing at: SOB's, Westgate, Havana Central, FB Lounge, The Harlem Yacht Club, and many other in the N.Y.C. area, He's also performing out of town, corp.events,festivals, Weddings.
