Jarvis and The Boys were great. They had played my friend's wedding a few years ago so I knew they were going to be great but they still managed to beat my expectations. They play a great range of music and the vocal talent is amazing. If you're deciding between a live band and a DJ definitely contact Jarvis because this is a great band at a great value compared to some recent DJ weddings I've attended.

I was married on 10/20/2012. I have to admit that prior to hiring "The Boys", I'd never personally seen them perform because I live in a different State. The only thing that I had to go by were the sample songs that were available on their Gigmasters' page. The samples were amazing!! I got in touch with Jarvis and hired the band.
Well, let me tell you. My wedding theme was very classy, elegant, and we wanted ALL jazz with mostly Frank Sinatra's songs. This band is professional, EXCEPTIONAL, and sound absolutely AMAZING!!!! Everyone loved the vibe, and mood that was created. They are the REAL thing!! You will feel very proud, and your guests will be very pleased.

From the time I expressed interest in The Boys, Jarvis was extremely professional and accommodating. He worked with us to assure that we would be satisfied on the big day.
As for the wedding, The Boys exceeded expectations. Their ability to play every genre of music makes them the perfect band to perform a wedding (or any function) with a crowd ranging in age. From oldies to rock to hip hop, The Boys did it all. The entire band was outstanding.
If you're torn between a band and DJ, consider The Boys (or their larger group, J Love Party Band). You'll get a fun, live band that can perform the tunes much like you hear on the radio.

This band was the BEST! They were fun, easy to work with, great performers, very professional. They made the party so much fun for all our friends. The next day all I heard
was how great the band was from everyone. Jarvis was great to work with!
We will have them again.

Jarvis was very professional and a great entertainer to work with. His set-up was top notch and his attitude superb. He helped make my job easy and was very accomodating with last minute changes and working with my budget. I would recommend his work to anyone.
