Rock Band from Flanders, NJ - Will travel up to 100 miles

$300 - $2000 per event
Alamance is a great party sweet sixteen family friendly act and is booked all over the country for such events. The band has its own PA system that it travels with. As a club or festival act they rule!
Alamance has completed their third release, titled Moving On, which is out June 2008. The first single off their new EP, Waiting On You, was released in early July 07. They’ve been playing tour dates all over the country, and have completeting their third summer(08) on The Vans Warped Tour. The band took the name Alamance from an RV crash they had in Alamance NC on the way to a show with Days Of The New!
Singer songwriter and guitarist Josh Sorhagen, hooked up with Erick Woltz in 2001 when they realized they were both students of the same guitar instructor Warren Hibbert.. Both Woltz and Sorhagen have seen lots of personnel changes but they have kept their eyes clearly on the target of becoming successful musicians and one of the countries hottest emerging bands! Bobby Vivalo, a veteran of the project has returned as bassist after nearly a two year absence. Mike Lisa, drummer and backing vocals joined the project in Oct 06 after substituting on shows for the band previously.
Alamance’s first album was released and recorded in early 2005. Shortly after they released their record, Alamance was off tour and received a call from a casting director at MTV. She had discovered the band on Purevolume, and wanted them to appear on a Back To School episode of TRL with Fall Out Boy. The guys couldn’t turn down the opportunity, and they came back early from their vacation to shoot the episode.
In 2006, Alamance was discovered when Mike Rodriguez(Smack In The Face Records) came across the band while he was scouting talent for Vans Warped Tour. He recruited them to play the East Coast Indie Stage for the tour, and later signed them to his newest acquisition Smack In The Face Records. They recorded Drowning Between Life And Lies and released it on the label in June 2006. The record was produced by Rob Freeman (writer, vocals and guitar in Hidden In Plain View). The lead track off this record, The Why In Y, has received hundred of thousands of plays online. Not only has the band been constantly writing and recording over the past few years, but they have been touring extensively as well. They have spent the past few 4th of July holidays playing for thousands of U.S. Troops at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany, and were invited to come back again this year as well. They have shared stages with many different bands such as My Chemical Romance, Days of the New, Teddy Geiger, The Jonas Brothers, Last November, The Pilot, Hidden In Plain View and Houston Calls. Also, they have performed with hip-hop icon Darryl McDaniels of Run D.M.C. on several occasions.
