I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to hire Melies to provide entertainment at my dinner party. My guests were wildly entertained, as I was. He was the talk of the party for the remainder of the night as we all tried to figure out how he pulled off his incredible magic and what I can only describe as mind reading. Moreover, as the organizer, I particularly appreciated his professionalism, clear communication, and sense of detail. It took all the stress out. I don't know why it took me so long to book that kind of talent.

I highly recommend!!! Best magician/mentalist ever! His performance was more than I anticipated and it was astonishing. Our dinner ran late and he was very accommodating in that his performance begin much later than expected. The next day everyone in our company couldn't stop talking about how great he was and couldn't believe that I was able to find such a highly talented performer. Best decision I ever made.

As I am the person responsible for our event planning, I am understandably, a bit nervous hiring a performer, if he/she isn't a hit, I feel it reflects on me. This year I hired Magician & Mentalist Méliès, and learned that I had absolutely nothing to worry about, he was a huge hit! Everyone loved the show, claims of "What?!" and "OMG, how?!" were uttered most of the evening and are still being spoken this morning, back in the office! The show was amazing and John was great to work with, pleasant, professional and accommodating!

Look no further!!! Magician & Mentalist Méliès is the BEST performance we have ever had at our Holiday event! He was timely, professional and accommodating toward our schedule for the evening. Throughout his 80 minute performance he included the audience's participation and left us in AWE with his Magic and ability to read minds. "HOW DID YOU DO THAT? Everyone had a fantastic evening - tween, teens, and adults! The office has been buzzing with excitement since. Thank you SO MUCH for great evening!

Amazing! We hired him for a holiday party full of doctors, nurses, and people with medical background. At first we told him he would start around 8pm, but since our food came a little later, he was more than welcome to start his show later and stay later, which I was grateful for for his flexibility. Anyway, I was blown away by how talented he is. Everyone kept talking about him after he left. He was able to get everyone's attention throughout his 1.5 hour show. Would recommend.

Méliès performed for our staff Holiday party and was simply amazing. The detail, showmanship, and professionalism was second to none. He was able to take a group of seventy people and take us on a journey through the evolution of magic through stories, illusions, and his clear love of the arts. The performance was over an hour and he had us on the edge of our seats the whole time. He did an amazing job of working with the staff, rowdy and shy, and kept a calm and professional demeanor the entire show. He received a well deserved standing ovation at the end! John wowed our crowd at my husban's surprise party. He is much more than a magician! We sat right in front of him and still could not figure out how he managed to do things that seemed impossible. You won't be disappointed. There was no way he could have known things about some of our guests, yet he did. Suggest that you get a firm time limit before the show. He went way over leaving us less time to socialize and dance. If magic is your thing, it won't be an issue for you.

What a show!!! We had 35 young adults (17 and 18 year olds) for a 18th birthday party. They were a very talkative crowd and Magician Melies maintained everyone's attention and kept them at the edge of their seats. No one could believe what they were seeing. One after another each act was better than the last. The kids were very involved and had a great time!
He was very professional to work with, arrived promptly and set up easily. We would love to work with him again. We highly recommend Magician and Mentalist Melies.

It was a FANTASTIC magic show - truly amazing. The audience was a mixture of skeptical teenagers and even more skeptical and cynical adults. Melies just dazzled them all. There were oohs and ahhas and increasingly sounds of wait! "how is that even possible"? One academic turned to me and said, "maybe it really is magic". In addition to a fabulous performance, Melies was utterly professional, funny and generous to the lone child who showed up, finding a great way to involve him in the show. All in all, can't recommend him highly enough.

Wonderful performer! I had a tough group of Tweens and Mielies handled them with graciousness and wit. The show was terrific and the morning after the kids were all trying to do card magic tricks! I highly recommend him to anyone.

Magician Melies absolutely shined with his magic tricks during the show he put on for my 26th birthday. I wanted to do something different and decided to hire a magician for a party of all adults. I'm so glad I did because we couldn't stop talking about his show! Thank you John for putting on a great show for my rowdy group of friends!
