The name of my company is Daisy's Art and Magic. I perform either as a magician - Wendy the Magician (either kids comedy magic or close-up magic) or a magic show geared towards younger kids as a clown. I also perform science shows. As a scientist I am known as Wendy the Wacky Scientist I have been performing all over the NYC metro area for over 15 years at private parties, schools, daycares, nursing homes etc. I am a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. I use a voice amplifier when I perform. I call up a child to be my assistant for each magic trick For my kids' magic shows I usually bring a real rabbit (weather permitting) and the kids get to pet her after the show. They love that. for kids magic I usually follow the show with balloons for each child (depending on the number of kids)

I am so happy with Daisy's Magic ! I had a few kids at my party with disabilities and she really made them feel included,by calling them up as assistants,letting them handle the magic and slightly modifying the show,as needed. She is very personable with kids aside from her magical talent!

She was pleasant and timely but not able to give the children engaged with her lower level Magic. Her balloon art was fine.

Daisy's Magic:

Thanks for your business. This was an atypical situation. I was hired for 3 hours for a wedding to entertain 9 kids with magic & balloons before the wedding, The magic was split into 2 portions for the 3 hours). Adults were occasionally going in and out of the room but no adults were present in the room for more than a minute or 2 to actually see all or most of the first half of the magic performed, and no adults were there for the second half! Also, the kids were often being called out of the room for lengthy amounts of time to either to get ready or to be in photos . I am sure the kids leaving the room contributed to the impression of a lack of engagement..
