Curtis O'Dell as Mark Twain Mark Twain Impersonator from Hodgenville, KY

I began Mark Twain impersonations in 2015 after being told for 25 years that I should perform as Mark Twain based on my appearance. I have always had the same hair style, color, and mustache as Mark Twain. I prefer performing with my handcrafted Bentwood rocker, two small tables, a small trunk, and my pipe (which I never smoke). I always receive great reviews on my props and performances. My act is a family-oriented performance for all ages that does not include profanity or vulgarity. My performance always makes the audience feel like they are back in time with Mark Twain himself. I have received many compliments that the audience was enchanted by my performance as Mark Twain. Many audience members requested information concerning my future performances. Performances are as follows: * Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park (Hodgenville, KY) to elementary school age children. The children were very attentive and thoroughly enjoyed the performance and asked many questions. * A sit down movie shoot with props for a full length movie about the Mark Twain era. This resulted in a 20 minutes appearance in the movie. This movie is still in production in the Philippines. * Historic State Theater, Elizabethtown, KY. This also included a meet and greet session after my performance. * Hodgenville, KY Women's Club. This also included a meet and greet session after my performance. * Eastern National two day event at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park. * Two days event at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park (for elementary school children). * Shave-a-thon in Elizabethtown, KY, which is a four hour benefit for small children with cancer. This wonderful event raised over $10,000. * Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park Centennial Celebration. This two day event was held July 16-July 17, 2016. I performed with several other impersonators. This event was televised by Kentucky Education TV (KET) and CNN. Both the park and imperators gave me several compliments with my Mark Twain performance. * Volunteered for the FLNHP. It was a two day event for school children from the surrounding counties. * History Museum of Elizabethtown, KY. This all day event was held on August 13, 2016. * Festival of the Arts, Big Rapids, MI. The performance was held in the auditorium of the local college on February 18, 2018. Over 200 people attended this event. I also had a meet and greet with the audience. * The Golden Lamb Hotel, Lebanon, OH on April 21, 2018. Five presidents plus Mark Twain stayed at this hotel. The seventy room hotel was a sell out. The event was billed as a evening with Mark Twain. The tickets were $60.00 and was a complete sellout and many people were turned away. I also talked with and posed for photos with all the guests. * St Charles, MO hotel on July 24, 2018. This event was attended by over 200 people.
