I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Buzz Lawrence. He arrived early and assessed our group to make sure he gave us the best value for his time. He entertained people from elementary school ages to senior citizens. The common refrain was "how did he do that??" While I was certainly familiar with the term 'magician', a mentalist was something new. Buzz met and exceeded our expectations and was truly a "magician for your mind". I am so glad we chose Mr Lawrence for our hospitality suite entertainment at our recent meeting in San Francisco.

To be honest, I really didn't know how well having a Mentalist at my party would work out. Well, without exception, every single guest who interacted with Buzz was blown away. People were astounded at his talent. Nobody could figure out how he did what he did. He was charming, unobtrusive, gracious, prompt and professional. He truly added an extra special dimension to my party. I don't doubt that people will be talking about Buzz for some time to come. Thank you Buzz for making a special night an extraordinary one!

He was great, everybody loved him. He was a delight, fun to have at a party - people were wowed and were laughing every time I had the chance to be where he was as he intermingled with groups of people hanging out all over the house. We'll be calling on him again. Professional, nice, fun and entertaining for sure!!!

I had Buzz entertain at my home for a tea party of ladies. He was very engaging and learned everyone's name. His illusions were amazing. He got everyone involved in his show. Buzz impressed all my guest with his expertise. He was very flexible with the time. We were running late and Buzz waited and did not rush us. If you are looking for a different kind of entertainment, call Buzz!

Buzz was very entertaining and able to adjust his show to the level of the crowd--in this case, mainly preschoolers. He arrived very early to set up and discuss the upcoming performance and even did some tricks for myself and the staff before and after the show. I would hire him again and am thinking of having him back to do a show for the adults.

This was a large wedding. I was given the impression that the ballroom would be vacant allowing me privacy to setup and test my illusions before the guests arrived.
When I arrived the reception was in full swing and it was impossible to set up on a stage with no curtain and 300+ guests occupying the room. Testimonials on stage were keeping the bridal party busy so I talked with close family members about the issue and it was agreed that the only recourse was to perform a strolling show; I stayed an extra hour without an additional charge to be sure I entertained every guest. Buzz was great. We had a 2 hour Halloween event in our cafe and we asked him to be a rove the crowd and entertain while folks lunched and attended a costume contest. We have a pretty skeptical crowd but he was able to connect with them and dazzle them with his illusions. Our event was a bit tricky since it took place in our lunch room where folks were also having meetings but Buzz was able to determine if it was appropriate to approach the group or not. After the event several attendees said they really enjoyed his performance. Would definitely recommend Buzz for corporate events.

Buzz performed for our guests at a small dinner party. His low key appearance and approach belied a terrific talent. His ability to convey his thoughts to our guests and read their thoughts in turn was amazing. He used a variety of props. Here is one example-Before the show in a boxed deck of cards he positioned one upside down. Later he then ask a guest to think of a card. Somehow he was able to convey the thought of the "marked" card to the guest who announced the card matching the one positioned in the deck. Very unusual and astounding. He is a great addition to a party.

Buzz is great! He was very friendly, very engaging, and very accommodating. His act overall was excellent and we were very satisfied. A few portions of his act could be updated; one of his tricks he had to set aside because of a misplaced prop. However, for our diverse crowd in terms of age and background, he was wonderful. I would recommend him and we are very happy with Buzz and his performance. Thank you!

We had a small private event at a restaurant and asked Buzz to roam the group of 45 during the cocktail hour.. Buzz performed a variety of mentalist tricks that left both the young and old smiling and scratching their heads. Got lots of positive comments from our guests. Definitely recommended if you are looking for "up close and personal" interactions with small groups of people. I can't comment on larger audiences or stage shows, but would definitely be interested in seeing Buzz perform in that setting as well.
