When I got married, I told all my vendors to act as if this was the most important wedding they had ever done. I wanted our guests to feel excitement and energy from the DJ to the caterers. So, I make sure this is what couples get from me when I am hired for wedding receptions.
Performing at weddings is an honor, and as your DJ, I keep top of mind how important the day is. Weddings with DJ Carve are personalized, energetic, and above all else, fun. I work weddings with couples who want to have a dance party with a modern feel, yet incorporate the classics and their lifetime favorites.
By having at least one in-person meeting with the bride and groom before the big day, I have the opportunity to understand the couple and ask questions to figure out their musical taste. My tempo is upbeat but I incorporate all types of music throughout the night by combining traditional wedding songs with modern music and dancing is what will make your wedding unique.
I have opened for Sugar Hill Gang, Flobots, Mickey Avalon, Black Angels, Beatbox, Who's Bad?, Bone Thugs, P.O.D, Tea Leaf Green and others. Some of my favorite parties have been with Vail Mountain for special events including Under Armour, Pond Skimming and the infamous 4 @ 4 party on closing day.
