My focus as a performing artist is to adjust the music set and playing style to the needs and desires of my audience and the venue. 50's - 60's - 70's Tunes!!! THE most popular choice for 50th and 60th Birthday Parties in the Tampa Bay area!!! BOOMERS STILL ROCK!!! PERFORMED MUSIC AND BREAK MUSIC IS CUSTOMIZED FOR YOUR NEEDS. (An example might be 60's music performed by Acoustic Rust with a break music mix of popular hits from the 60's era.) Solo original arrangements with an emphasis on music by The Beatles, Buddy Holly, John Lee Hooker, The Eagles, J.J. Cale, The Byrds, CSN with a splash of Jimmy Buffett for a tropical beach flavor. Acoustic Rust has produced three vocal / instrumental CD's: "Wrecked & Rusted", "These Times" and "Covered". The CD singles, ""Waistline Blues" and "Wave Of The Day" are now available for download at the iTunes Store.

Gary truly was the capstone on my event. I threw a 50th birthday party for my husband, and about 70 people came. Gary kept my guests entertained, and enabled me to be a good hostess. He was great! He even learned a new number just for my husband - and my husband was thrilled to hear it! Gary was also very professional from beginning to end. He got in touch with me immediately after booking, and followed up prior to and after the event. He arrived on time, and even stayed a little later than I expected. Everyone had such a great time, and I am so thankful to Gary for accommodating my event. I highly recommend Gary - Acoustic Rust - to everyone.

Acoustic Rust, "Gary" was very entertaining. We had around 60 guests ranging in age from 2 to 92. The mix was perfect. Our guests were from all over the world (England, Germany, Canada and U.S.) - I could not have asked for a better entertainer for this special event. My husband who was the guest of honor has a very wide range in his choice of music and Acoustic Rust was a perfect match. Thank you Gary for a great time!
