This group (THE BAD RACCOONS) is young, energetic, talented and fun! We could not have asked for a better fit for our first concert at Craven Community College. The group appealed to everyone in the audience and it was a very diverse group in both age and background.

Thanks to Eversole and the Flame for an awesome event! We hired them to play ceremony music and a cocktail hour for our outdoor wedding in Chapel Hill. We had special requests for ceremony music which they gladly accommodated, they looked great and professional, and they sounded amazing during the cocktail hour, really setting the tone for a fun Southern wedding! I'd highly recommend them.

They made our night unique, fun, and as hassle free as possible. I would easily recommend them to anyone for any type of event. They had fun, we had fun, and it sounded great.... you can't beat it. Thanks so much guys! I know my family/friends can be.... demanding (thats the word we'll use, anyway) and you handled them graciously.

Faye and Andrew were terrific. They came in, listened to my direction for all of 5 minutes, then did exactly what I needed, and raised it up a notch. They seemed to have a good time, and that translated into an audience that had an even better time. I would use their talents again any time it was appropriate. They were talented, professional, willing and very easy to work with. They are both nice people as well.

They were fantastic...a great group of people...great musicians.

They were great, they tackled the difficult task of providing an instrumental version of two very specific Iron & Wine songs beautifully. They added the perfect southern touch to my wedding and would recommend them for any event where you would like a personal, acoustic touch.

Not the fastest in responding to emails but they were VERY accomodating with learning special songs for my wedding and my family and friends absolutely LOVED them. Great duo for both my wedding and the cocktail hour. Dressed snazzy, looked and sounded great. Would definitely use them again. Thank-you Andrew!!!

Initially we were really excited about hiring these guys for our wedding ceremony, but we ended up pretty disappointed for several reasons. First, they were difficult to contact and weren't great with communication. Secondly, we requested Eversole and the Flame (banjo + fiddle) and got a banjo and an acoustic guitar without ever being told why or warned ahead of time. Furthermore, some of the specialty songs we requested (Edelweiss and the Sufjan Stevens version of "Come Thou Fount") seemed to have been learned the day before. They seemed less comfortable with new material. I'm sure this was a fluke for Rivers of Mars, but I think it's worth noting nonetheless.

The Eversole Brothers were excellent! We were hosting a southern-style barbecue for guests the night before our wedding, and the band did a wonderful job livening up the event. People are still complimenting me on the music weeks later! Andrew was very easy to communicate with. I'd definitely recommend the band.
