Gayle Coursol and Company includes musicians and styles of great diversity, including the finest musicians South Florida has to offer with credentials that encompass sharing the stage with some of today's most popular celebrity acts as well as Grammy nominations to back it up. From humble beginnings of fronting ensembles from Jazz with an International flavor to Classic Rock and Blues, to Acoustic Americana, and USO themed shows we branched out to embrace the larger world of Music and Culture to include Belly Dance Productions as well as a Journey through the History of Jewish Music through the ages. Performances can be as simple as a quiet duo of guitar and singer in your living room for intimate gatherings to large scale stage shows including Dancers, Drummers, and Storytellers from around the world. Our Jazz offerings can range from intimate cocktail hours or dinner parties to full blown Dance Parties with lots of Lights and Energy including Samba dancers, African Drummers, and Jazz Dance Parties from Swing to Blues to Latin Grooves... Keep in mind that all "band" events can be presented as a duo performing with high quality, and original, background tracks for a full band sound - to accommodate lighter budgets. Special Events include our stage show - From God to Gershwin - Tracing the stories and Songs of Jewish Music through Centuries with Songs sung in four languages. References include - the "Make-A-Wish Foundation" Special Holiday events, and International Night at the Norton Museum in WPB. Then there is - Arabian Nights - A sensuous and inclusionary Performance with Belly Dancers, Drummers, Storytellers and Costumes to brighten up any gathering from private birthday parties to full theatrical stage performances. [Can include Dance Lessons and Drum Circles for participatory parties] Our Americana band will bring you back to the simpler times of Rural American Roots Music and the familiar soundtrack from "Brother Where Art Thou" including the roots of Bluegrass and the transformation of these roots into modern day Country Rock, Folk Rock and Campfire sing-a-longs. Let's not forget the Spirit of Woodstock and Classic Rock...Whether purely for nostalgia or a deeper connection with the music and energy of a time and place unlikely to be repeated We will spark your memories and fire up the dance floor with Rock and Roll Classics from the 50's through the 70's and beyond..From gentle, easy listening selections to outright psychedelic explosions...Rock and Roll Lives on... Our USO themed show hearkens back to the variety shows honoring our armed forces with Song, Dance, some Comedy, a few Stand and Salute numbers as well as the nostalgia of the Andrew Sisters, Bob Hope, and Bette Midler. The company has performed for the likes of Jay Leno, Goldie Hawn, Soundtracks for the Discovery Channel, The Dalai Lama's Nobel Prize Celebration, Hotels, Clubs and Private Parties throughout Florida since 1996. Members of the company have recorded on over a dozen CDs, with recognition - including a Grammy Nomination, A Global Rhythms Award, Accolades from Frets Magazine, with Recommendations, and Positive Reviews from agents and entertainment presenters throughout South Florida.
