Jennifer has been playing the violin for +20 years. She is classically trained, but is favored for her ability to play R&B, neo soul, hip-hop, and pop. Jennifer sat first chair at Renaissance High School (Detroit, MI) and received a stipend to join the orchestra at Hampton University (Hampton, VA). She has played with several string quartets and jazz ensembles, and has been recognized for for solo and group performances. Inspired by violinist Regina Carter, she has also been influenced by a variety of singers and instrumentalists. Playing the violin is her passion and loves to share her talent with others. Jenviolin currently serves the Metropolitan DC area, including Maryland and Virginia. She often travels to Southern VA, Philadelphia, and Detroit as well for performances. Long distance travel can be arranged pending availability.

There are not enough stars to rate her with. Jenviolin was extremely professional and talented. She was the absolute star of the night. My guests is still talking about her. I loved all her song choices. She basically saved my party after the venue had technical issues with their sound system. I cannot thank her enough and will definitely book her again for future events.

Having her perform added a special touch to my event and coordinating with her was super easy. To say the least, Jennifer is freaking awesome! She performed both classical and hip hop/ r&b remakes at my engagement dinner/ surprise wedding . I highly recommend her, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!
