If you are looking for a talented, professional, and accommodating band, who are talented at what they do, I would not look no further than Michael and Jennifer and the Banjocats. I enjoyed every second working this Michael and Jennifer. I appreciated their thoroughness, attention to details, communication, kindness, and most of all their music. I will recommend them time and time again to anyone for any event.

Michael and Jennifer McLain and the Banjocats were simply effortless to work with and so incredibly kind. They are true professionals. They knew exactly what to do and what time to do it. They can read a crowd really well and need little to no instruction. They're very experienced and professional yet friendly and very easy to work with. Everyone at the wedding kept saying how wonderfully talented they were. I can’t say enough good things about them and I strongly recommend them to anyone.

Michael and Jennifer were absolutely perfect for our wedding! From the very beginning they were professional and easy to work with. They exceeded our expectations, for our venue perfectly, and all of our guests were so impressed with their talent. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed them, and we’re so glad we budgeted our wedding money to include them.

Michael and Jennifer McLain performed at our wedding and I'm struggling to describe how happy we were. Half the tables we went around to visit told us how much they loved the band and some guests were still talking about them a few days later. It's been two weeks and I'm still listening to their album on Apple Music (and hoping they make a new one...). Besides being amazing musicians, they're just as nice and sweet as they could be. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough!

Their music was perfect for our wedding. They did an excellent job of mixing just the right amount of foot-stomping faster paced songs with the slow-danicing slower songs. Michael was very helpful and accommodated each and every request that we had. The performance was great and each of our guests said they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen!

The Michael and Jennifer McLain Band were fantastic to work with for an Iowa farm wedding. They were very flexible with any changes on the day and leading up to the wedding. Their ceremony music was acoustic and fit the setting perfectly and their reception music was vibrant and filled the dance floor. They learned special songs for my couple and knocked them out of the park!! As a wedding professional, I cannot recommend Michael and Jennifer enough for weddings!!!

Michael and Jennifer and their band were one of the highlights of our wedding this past May. We hired them to be the musicians for the whole wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). Everyone was enraptured by their lovely music, and we heard nothing but compliments about them all day. They provided the perfect ambiance for our rustic vintage wedding.
Also, these are some of the kindest, most accommodating people to work with! They added so much memorable value to our day when the bassist allowed my 88 year-old grandmother to pluck the strings of his bass--a lifelong dream of hers! Truly wonderful people and great musicians!

These people - the whole band- were not only consummate professionals, not only a 10 out of 5 stars on talent, but also exceptionally nice people! They performed at my daughter and son-in-law's rehearsal dinner last summer, and for my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner this year, there was no other choice! Book this band while they are still available!

Having Michael and Jennifer play at our reception was one of the best decisions we made when planning our event! They were so professional and wonderful to work with. We even received a CD from them in the mail with a preview of their music. They also learned and played our first dance song live for us! I can't even count the number of compliments we received on their music from our wedding guests. They provided lovely background music during drinks and dinner and upbeat dancing music afterwards. Thank you Michael and Jennifer!!

They were fabulous to work with. Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The event was long and they attended the event for the better part of the day. When the crowd diminished toward the later part of the evening, their performance did not! They gave a great show and were very professional. We would surely ask them to come again!!

We hired Michael and Jennifer as a trio, and their music set the perfect tone for our fall picnic in Lexington, KY! We had to move the event from outdoors to inside a barn at the last minute when the weather changed, and they were so flexible. We've hired different bluegrass musicians before and they have BY FAR been our favorite. We received a lot of praise from the guests at our events. By the end of the evening, all the little kids were dancing and everyone was having a great time! They provided 3 hours of live entertainment with a nice variety of songs. Awesome group!!

We knew within the first 5 minutes of speaking to Michael on the phone that we wanted to hire them for our wedding. They accommodated our request of acoustic bluegrass hymns at the ceremony site, cocktail hour background music, and tasteful music for the reception. The sound system they brought never gave feedback or was too loud - it was perfect. They allowed us to use the setup for a few toasts and welcomes, and even helped me achieve a vision of a fun, lively "dollar dance" using a perfect mix of upbeat tunes Michael downloaded and had on a playlist. We even wanted to enter the reception with a certain Hank Williams tune - and they made it happen! THE BEST!!!

Michael and Jennifer were wonderful and accommodating for our wedding ceremony and reception. They were flexible in our unique museum setting, having to set up in a tight time frame. They sought out our wishes well ahead of time and played beautifully, adjusting as needed to the evening. They played acoustically for the ceremony and amplified for the reception. They were wonderful! Jennifer's voice is so lovely! Lots of people asked us about the band afterward. We would absolutely engage them again for an important event!

Micheal and Jennifer McLain and the Banjocats were more than amazing. They were very accommodating and are well worth the booking. We had a garden wedding in a historic district in Lexington, KY and their music versatility fit our needs perfectly. This band is quality, top to bottom. Requested bluegrass, oldies, and classical music, some Van Morrison covers as well as some other requests that they knocked out of the park. Seriously if we could redo the wedding, we'd book them immediately, no question. Jennifer's voice was angelic, and Micheal and the Banjocats were as well super talented. Book them. You will not be disappointed.

The Michael and Jennifer McLain Band were perfect for our warehouse opening event. Michael was incredibly easy to work with and made sure that they could deliver on our special requests for the warehouse space. Wow! The BanjoCats are incredible! Everyone loved the music.
The BanjoCats Michael, Jennifer, Maggie and Ruth were a wonderful addition to our party.
The Banjocats were very professional in appearance and on time. They handled the adverse weather conditions very professionally.

Michael McLain and the Banjocats were outstanding in every way! They entertained our pre-Easter family reunion party abord the 95' Motor Yacht, CQ Princess, in Louisville and were the absolute dressing on the cake. Great voices... great musical talent!
These guys really epitomize Blue Grass, and with our family of cousins, aunts and others from Kentucky, really showed em how it's done. And for those of us from Scottsdale, showed us what real blue grass is about.
Highly recommend em! We'll be calling them again when we next come to town to visit!

The Banjo Cats are an AWESOME Bluegrass band and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering a Bluegrass band. They were so easy to work with and extremely accomodating on last minute changes we had to make.

The Banjocats are top-notch in professionalism, musicianship, and in just being all-around nice, wonderful people to have at our wedding reception. The highlight of the night came when my daughter was supposed to sing for the first dance of the new couple (her brother being the groom), and I was supposed to accompany her on a keyboard. I brought the wrong electrical plug, so we had no keyboard. In my panic, Jennifer says "Can we help you?" She made a chord chart of the song, and the whole group played from that. They rehearsed with my daughter for about 10 minutes during a break, and the performance was so beautiful and special! Banjocats are THE BEST!
