HUNDREDS OF SONGS AND STYLES FROM A 3-TIME WINNER OF THE 'RISING STAR' AWARD! FROM ROCK & IRISH TO CLASSICAL & REGGAE! When it comes to playing different styles of music, can one man really do it all? No, of course not. But Wayne Morrison comes very close! He is an experienced, professional performer who plays a wide variety of music - from pop and rock to folk and Irish, as well as original compositions. He is able to play solo, acoustic pieces alongside the ability to achieve a full-band sound. Closing in on a hundred bookings from Gigmasters, Wayne was a Rising Star Award Winner for three separate years! He has played venues throughout the United States and in Ireland. Hiring a one man band offers a great alternative to hiring a full band or DJ service. Featuring a repertoire of over 500 songs and instrumentals, Wayne Morrison has established a reputation as a highly reliable and crowd-pleasing performer. When not performing solo, Wayne is a member of the Raglan Road Men, an Irish folk duo. Check them out over to the right here under 'related profiles'. Wayne can also perform bluegrass banjo music in a solo format by using bluegrass backup recordings against which he plays tunes like 'Dueling Banjos' or 'Foggy Mountain Breakdown'. He can also use portable, battery-operated sound equipment for areas that have no electricity available, for example, beaches or parks where weddings might be held. His CD, The Finish Line, features original compositions and covers. Some samples of these original songs can be found under his name on MySpace. You can also purchase his CD at cdbaby, or sample individual tracks on iTunes and other internet distributors such as Amazon. Meanwhile, check out the music above for some examples of his various styles. Regardless of the event you're planning, Wayne Morrison can bring it to life!

Wedding Reception•Reviewed on June 27, 2014•From Portsmouth, RI

Wayne played for my wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was nothing short of fantastic. Professional, courteous, accommodating, talented, friendly, flexible.... all words I would use to describe Wayne as a musician and entertainer. His guitar playing is excellent, able to play delicate, soft songs for the ceremony, and equally as capable playing rock sing-a-longs for the reception. It was a shame that the reception ended, because our guests were having a great time dancing to his music. Learning a song on short notice was a special touch. Anyone who hires Wayne for an event will be satisfied with his musical talents, and his personable demeanor.

Birthday Party (Adult)•Reviewed on November 18, 2010•From Boston, MA

Wayne was terrific! We hired him for a 65th birthday party and the music couldn't have been better. Wayne was professional, prepared, and a breeze to work with... and he sounded great! The setlist was exactly what we were hoping for, and he was accommodating with requests. Thank you Wayne!

AWESOME!!! Wayne Morrison was everything we expected he would be from reading former reviews. He played at our wedding reception and all my guests loved him, he definitely was the subject of interest at our brunch the next morning. Professional, accommodating, fun, insanely talented, and overall just a really nice guy to work with!
