Walker Bowers or known as on stage as WLKR is an American record producer and musician, who keeps the Future Bass genre up and going. With his melodic and synthesized beats, he manages to please others with his music. Starting at the age of 13, Walker started mixing music on his mobile device for the fun of it. Later he found it as a passion and made it something he wanted to succeed in. In 2015 he released his first Single, called “Shipwreck” under the name of “Om3ga.” This single sparked his social media community, and helped him grow a fan base. A couple months after he released the song he wanted to change the way he made music and practice into a different genre that he felt more comfortable in. Walker later changed his name to “WLKR”, which he said he will stick with and wants to continue his journey in music with. Walker continues to please people with his remixes and music, and hopes to continue to share the love of music with everyone.

I play electronic to hip-hop to pop music on an 8x8 Launchpad and my Mac. As I more lean on the musician side, they don't have "Electronic Musician" as an option or "Plays Launchpad". For me a DJ controller doesn't give me the benefit, and I'm not too good of a mixer. I'm more comfortable with actually having the software and playing an electronic drum pad, I feel more like I'm doing something than mixing a few songs. With the launchpad I can play and mix any of your favorite songs! For me the less equipment means more portable and more fun gigs to play. My Launchpad can provide a light show thats entertaining to people around watching the performance.
