Hi I'm Tim Lacatena, an LA based electropop musician, singer and DJ. In addition to my original work, I love performing unique covers of popular songs in my synth-driven style. I'm a one man electronic band using personally produced backing tracks, vocals, synth and drum machine. With over 10 years of experience in the event world as a member of Soulcirque, I have performed internationally for private and corporate clients such as Google, The Emmys and BMW. Recent clients: Pure Storage (Tech Fest ’22), Buster Posey, City of Pasadena Recent event destinations: Italy (Rome), Bahamas (Baha Mar), Hawaii (Big Island), LA, NY, SF, Aspen Music aside, I trained as a ballet dancer and actor in my early years, later appearing in films/tv shows like Step Up, House of Lies, and Disney's Kickin' It. I'd love to be a part of your upcoming event. I’m a good fit for cocktail hours, gallery openings, sunset vibes, corporate events, and the slot preceding a DJ set. For longer events, I can package my one man synthpop band show with a DJ set by me. Between my live music and DJ sets, I can play for an entire evening.
