Hi, I'm Annie, nice to meet you! A little about me: I was a preschool teacher once upon a time. I enjoy the little ones. They're so fun! All the while I was in school pursuing a commercial photography degree. Honestly, while I was in school I didn't understand photography. As another might describe it as "the eye," it wasn't until the end of my studies when I started to understand lighting, composition, form, and technique. My own style was beginning to develop. One of the most unique experience for me is spending a month in Alaska and photographing the women of the Gwichin tribe. Documentary then became my favorite style of photography. Nowadays, I spend my time photographing my daughter. She has become my model. I think it's important for me to document her life. It is my gift to her. As your photographer, it's my gift to you, to document your family and loved ones through my lens and my eye.
