*Note I am a new member of GigiMasters, Toronto Pianist & Keyboardist, I look forward to delighting your guests with a wonderful repertoire of jazz standards, pop, swing, light classical, movie & broadway show tunes, Latin, Wedding Music, and selections spanning all decades, as either a solo piano/keyboard instrumentalist, or accompanied by talented vocalists in a piano/keyboard & vocalist duo that sounds like a full band. I began playing piano at age 5, and at age 16 became the resident pianist at a prestigious Toronto Golf & Country club, where he played for 8 years, followed by another 8 years at another top club, in addition to playing 100's of private, corporate & wedding functions etc.., as well as playing keyboards in many bands ranging from jazz, blues, R&B, Classic rock catering to all types of venues. After a successful career in business, I have decided to pursue a Music Degree at Humber College, and have successfully passed an audition in Jazz Piano, and accepted to the prestigious Bachelor of Music Degree Jazz Piano major, commencing Sept 2019 where I will study with some of the top jazz musicians in North America, with the goal of embarking on a full time music career centric around performing solo piano, playing in duo, trio, full bands, teaching, and running my recording studio. My goal is to build a business centric around my passion for music and to provide an exceptional experience for each one of my clients. In June of 2019, I will be formally launching Dave Toms Piano, and ready to embark on an exciting musical journey. as a full time focus.
