Johnny just played our joint "parents anniversary/4 year old's bday" combined party at our house. There were 50 people there ranging from 3 years old to 86. Everyone raved about what a great job he did. He mixed Billy Joel, the Beatles and Elton John classics while throwing in a few kiddie songs as well. His music was on point and he has a great voice Also it was the perfect volume as well. We would definitely hire him again for another party.

Johnny was very quick to respond to our request, not only was willing to learn about our non-profit, but he volunteered his time to entertain our members with aphasia, a communication disorder. Johnny is a great ukulele player with a beautiful voice. We are now looking for an excuse to host a party just so we can bring Johnny back!

Johnny was a fantastic choice for our wedding ceremony music. My husband and I knew we did not want to go with the very traditional, stuffy, and expensive harpist/violin/trio option. We also knew we didn't want the DJ playing a premade track booming from speakers for our ceremony. He added a personal, warm, and unique element to our ceremony. He worked with my husband and I to come up with an amazing playlist, and even learned new songs for us! He played Somewhere Over the Rainbow when our small nieces and nephews walked down the aisle and everyone was in tears! For those of you looking for a unique music option to really add a personal touch- definitely book Johnny!

We hired Johnny to play a party that we hosted in New York and he was absolutely fantastic! Prior to the event, he was very professional, highly responsive and made the booking and planning process very easy. He arrived at the venue early, allowing for ample setup time, and the room was filled with music prior to our first guests arriving. His performance throughout the event was outstanding; he played to the room and everyone had a wonderful time. Johnny is a very talented musician and has a great voice. We will be hiring him again for future events and I would highly recommend him.

As a GigMasters employee, I've had the pleasure of working with many great vendors and performers, but working with Johnny on my surprise proposal was the best experience I've had. He responded immediately to my request and even cut a quick demo of a song I had specially requested. I knew right away he was the right person to make my proposal even more special. He was incredibly flexible and helpful when coordinating a surprise in a busy location, and when the moment finally came he was just incredible. Johnny was amazing! Such talent! From the moment we contacted him and throughout the experience it was always pleasant, professional and courteous. He learned new songs that were requested by my daughter for the wedding. He also played a couple of Disney tunes on piano during our cocktail hour as he noted some "fairy tail, Disney" moments during the ceremony. We can't thank him enough for creating the ambiance we were looking for. All I can say to someone thinking about hiring him is please do, you won't be sorry!!

John is a terrific talent and was a great addition to my wife's surprise birthday party. He plays beautifully and has a wonderful voice. Personable. Funny. He fit right in. Everyone loved him. His ukulele skills were an added extra and he serenaded us outside on our terrace after playing our piano in the living room. A great find and a great guy.

For my mom's 70th birthday celebration, I hired Johnny to sing and play the ukulele during cocktail hour and play the piano during dinner. Wow! Johnny took the event to the next level. We gave Johnny a complicated set of requests: perform 3 songs (singing, guitar, ukulele), but with different groups of family/friends who can only meet the wedding weekend. We needed him to arrange the songs and coordinate the rehearsal. We knew it was a lot. But Johnny’s modest confidence and professionalism earned him the respect of those we asked to perform with him, meant that the performers loved rehearsing, and gave us an end result that was so much better than we expected. Johnny is a talented musician and arranger, and a strong leader. We are truly indebted to him for making our somewhat crazy musical vision come to life. We can't recommend him enough.

Johnny Herbert was a great addition to our annual Christmas party. He was easy to work with before the party and very responsive to any needs or special requests I had. On the night of the party, he was punctual and prepared with his music, microphone and ukelele. He kept our guests entertained for 4 hours with maybe one break. Many of our guests inquired about him after the party. He was a fantastic addition to the night and I highly recommend him for any party!!!

Johnny Herbert was the perfect addition to my sister's wedding ceremony this past Saturday. Johnny was so accommodating and kind while helping us select the music for the wedding. He far exceeded our expectations in terms of performance ability. His style of playing was soothing and creative, adding almost a jazzy feel. Johnny arrived on time and was very patient and accommodating in the venue's tight space. Quickly, his music brought life to the party and set the perfect ambiance for my mom's birthday. Before the party, we gave him some direction in our preference of musical periods and favorite artists. Hearing those songs made for perfect moments. It was evident he put time into the songs he chose for the evening. Johnny's smooth tenor voice fit perfectly with our dinner party and all of our family and friends commented on his talent. I'm so happy he was available for our event and I would definitely choose him again!

Johnny was fantastic, we found him just days before our event which was for a surprise birthday party in the home. He was on time, made effort to send song lists and offered to accomodate any of our special requests for music. During the event he played absolutely perfect selection of music that blended into the atmosphere perfectly. Not too loud not too soft. He was extremely professional and his talents were easy to see. I would highly recommend him for and event. All the guest commented on how the music made the party.
