About

The Historic Astor Court at The Bronx Zoo is the epitome of sophistication and reflects old-world grace. The five buildings that make up Astor Court are: the Primates’(Monkey) House, Lion House, Large Bird House (now Administration West), Elephant House (now Zoo Center), Administration Building (now Administration East). All of these buildings were constructed between 1899 and 1910 to designs by Heins & La Farge, and are elegantly adorned with realistically modeled, stone and terracotta sculptures of animals by Eli Harvey, Charles R. Knight and Alexander Phimster Proctor. Astor Court is the perfect venue for company events, holiday parties, weddings, corporate galas, private receptions and more. Make your next event a one-of-a-kind affair and book Astor House at the Bronx Zoo.
