Located in New York City, No Fun provides its stylish bar area for private events. Opened in 2011, this venue aims to encapsulate the downtown scene of old. In keeping with this, the establishment was named after a song by The Stooges led by infamous East Villager Iggy Pop.
Upon entering the bar at No Fun, guests are greeted with an inviting ambiance created with stylish yet relaxed decor. Wooden tables, a wood bar top, and a rough wood floor lend a rustic vibe to this space. Old-school mental bar stools provide seating for up to 140 attendees here. An exposed brick wall dominates one side of the bar and showcases shelves of premium drink options behind the bar. Oversized stage lights hang from the ceiling, giving the space a laid-back industrial feel.
The owners of No Fun are passionate about serving good food and a party atmosphere for their clientele. Executive chef Jose Dorante has worked throughout New York and now serves homemade Mexican cuisine from Dorante’s Cocina within the bar. Guests can also enjoy a choice of fun and flavorful cocktails including the Old School Manhattan and the Ring of Fire. Food, drinks, and friendly service are served late seven days a week here, making this a choice stop-in spot all year round.
