New York City-based Street Beat Brass Band offers a high-energy sound and visual atmosphere of upbeat party music and strolling musicians that brings any event to the next level. While they are rooted in the New Orleans Jazz tradition, they also play a diverse range of styles – from Funk to Polka and German Oompah, Klezmer, Swing, Jazz standards, TV themes, Patriotic, and they can even learn your favorite music just for your event! Street Beat Brass has done it all, from opening for the New York Philharmonic to being cultural ambassadors on several international tours for the US State Department; TV shows including ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Jerry Springer; three seasons aboard Circle Line Cruises; opening for A-list comedians including Seth Rogen and Amy Schumer; performing for 32,000 cyclists at the annual Five Boro Bike Tour; Jazz festivals; and more. They’ve been mentioned or featured in the NY Times, NY Daily News, Queens Tribune, interviewed on NY1 and more. Their past venues have included Jazz at Lincoln Center, the DiMenna Center, the IHeartRadio Theater, Webster Hall, Brooklyn Bowl, schools, and churches. They have ample experiences serving; weddings, parades, government functions, corporate events, house parties, educational outreach, sporting events, festivals, funerals, church services, and more.
