Brinton is a speaker, educator and leadership expert with 20 years of military experience & a Professor at the University of Portland where he teaches Leadership & Management. Using stories of living abroad, carrying out unexpected missions and overcoming challenges he would never have imagined, he truly brings important lessons to life in a way that everyone can relate to. As an Air Force logistics officer, Brint has done the heavy lifting on the ground to keep planes in the sky and the forces where they need to be. He got his start as a speaker by presenting on-the-ground realities of the Syrian civil war to European and US elected leaders. Stationed near the Syrian border in Turkey, he directed the entire NATO effort into the region to stabilize aggression and our Congressmen wanted to go to the source. Later called to the other side of the globe, Brint led the 2015 humanitarian relief effort in Nepal after a devastating series of earthquakes; some of which he witnessed firsthand. He followed that with a year-long disaster risk reduction effort across the Asia-Pacific region. His senior commanders had so much faith in his ability to break down barriers and connect with others, they sent him as the Air Force spokesperson to the United Nations addressing humanitarian assistance efforts in SE Asia. He's now a University professor teaching the next generation of leaders coming behind him. Outside the classroom, Brint delivers presentations to a variety of organizations, sports teams and youth groups – always thought provoking, authentic and inspiring others along their journey to be their best!
