The Other Side of Addiction Public Speaker from Sandy, UT

My wife battled alcoholism for many years, her addiction took me down a very dark path. So dark in 2019 I was on my way home from an event, I couldn't go through the pain any longer. I was going to take my life. A phone call and the screen shot on my phone saved my life that day. Something had to change, what was it? I started sharing my story with others. To my surprise I was finding how widespread addiction really was. People that I've known for years started pulling me to the side sharing their struggles with past addiction or their stories of loved ones who battled addictions, it was everywhere. Before I knew it I was being asked to speak at luncheons, my story was resinating with people. March of 2020 all gatherings came to a stop due to Covid. Throughout 2020 something was telling me I needed to talk about addiction, how could I talk about it when we weren't allowed to gather. That's when I decided to start a podcast, it's called The Other Side of Addiction. My mission was to educate, inspire and create possibilities for families impacted by addiction!! I also want to get rid of the stigma, addicts are not the labels society has placed upon them. They are some of the most spiritual and inspirational people I've every met in my life. We have interviewed people from Europe, Canada and many other states here in the US. The podcast has opened doors I would of never imagined. I've shared my story with a number of Recovery Centers around the Salt Lake City Valley. I've recently joined up with two amazing individuals who battled addiction. We are hosting an event called THE HEALING UTAH SUCCESS SUMMIT. When you hire me you'll hear the real story. It's time we shed the blind folds, addiction needs to be talked about. I can almost guarantee one or more of your employees, co-workers, family members or friends are dealing with an addiction of some sort and you don't even know it. My story helps these people come to realize they're not alone.
