Nuanzz Cover Band from Durham, NC

Nuanzz is the emotionally expressive band bringing you original music and your favorite hit cover songs that is sure to captivate any audience with the ambience and environment we create! The band was formed in September 2022, by Edren Bell (saxophones, vocals, EWI) in preparation for the 40th Annual Homecoming Celebration of the Southside Church of Christ in Durham, NC. Seeking to create a dynamic and unique sound, he called upon several musicians and singers that he has performed with over the span of his career as a musician. Preparing and performing for this event solidified a mutual feeling and purpose between all of the members, and this Nuanzz was formed. Though in its adolescence, momentum accelerated immediately, as the band was noticed by the Durham Bottling Company, and were requested to serve as the resident band for the company. The band has now begun hosting their own events, starting with their “Love is In the Air, A Valentine’s Day Jazz Social,” and most recently performed for the R.O.O.T.S Entrepreneurship Festival! The band excels at connecting with the audience, conveying the authenticity in the subtle differences in musical expression of each member, embracing, and building on that collectively; we share an intense desire and drive to reach greater musical excellence, and a bond that was fostered from a shared love of music that has developed into a family love and an contagious energy and vibe that is brought to each and every performance!
