Silkee Smoove, A TIMELESS SOUND! Home-based in the heart of tourism, Orlando Florida, but will travel! Silkee Smoove has successfully evolved into one of the East Coast's premier Wedding/Party entertainment packages. Created in 2009 to appeal to large and diverse audiences, Silkee Smoove's extensive repertoire embraces the very best of Motown, Dance, Rhythm and Blues, Classic Soul, Top 40's, Smooth Jazz, Covers and more.
Silkee Smoove is a 10 to12 piece band, consisting of rhythm section, sax and trumpet with 4/5 wonderful vocalists. We also can provide percussion at the request of clients, as well as Anthology String Quartet for your ceremony and/or cocktail hour! The chemistry between our members comes from 8 years of experience together, creating an on-stage energy that captures the essence of the music you love to hear.
If you have particular songs you'd like us to do, we'll have them for you...just let us know.
All the members of our band are veteran musicians; some having performed for audiences throughout the world. Though our vast repertoire targets the baby-boomer generation, our high-energy format has demonstrated its appeal to all age groups! So if you are looking for a wedding band you can Dance, Dine and listen to, great Covers, Motown, R&B, Smoove Jazz and more, and also have a Dynamic Entertaining experience, STOP LOOKING! From the moment I was contacted by Michael and Angela Hall, I knew Silkee Smoove was the perfect band for my father’s party. They were professional, personable, upbeat, and worked with me to fit within my budget. They arrived early to set up, complete with sound and lighting. The talented singers and musicians showcased a diverse body of music and kept the multi-generational guests partying on the dance floor. I received compliments and requests for the band's contact information all night long! Silkee Smoove made my father's seventieth birthday celebration a night to remember. Silkee Smoove is more than a band, they are an experience!
