The J.O.B. is willing to travel anywhere within the continental United States and is always road-ready with their own ground transportation, lights, full PA system, and FOH live sound engineer. The J.O.B. was formed by Jim O'Ferrell (acoustic guitar & vocals) and Jason Crawford (electric guitar) when O'Ferrell returned from the War in Iraq in 2008. Originally intended to record the songs Jim had written between missions, the band has evolved into a diverse alternative rock band with a prolific music portfolio. The J.O.B. has an engaging Rock & Roll sound with a Blues pulse and Americana roots. Rounding out this four-piece group are Jared K Merrill on the bass guitar and Brian Penczak on the drummer's throne. Their 6th studio album, "Highway Of Shadows" was ranked by The Auricular as among the "50 Best Richmond Records of 2018" Rehearsing, songwriting, and recording throughout the coronavirus pandemic of 2020, The J.O.B. will be releasing new music very soon! The band has started booking shows at venues throughout the region beginning in March of 2021. Their music is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and all other major online music outlets. Their music is in rotation on terrestrial & internet radio stations worldwide. The J.O.B. has performed over 240 shows in 12 states since their inception, as well as several live television and live radio performances.
