The Rescue Dogs Rock Band from West Des Moines, IA

The Rescue Dogs is a 7 piece Des Moines based band. Each member has performed publicly in various bands for at least 25 years with 4 members having played professionally at a least one point in their musical career. Lead vocalist Barb Baker Miller was inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 and has vocal ranges similar to Ann Wilson (Heart) to Lady Gaga. We enjoy playing local pubs as well as private-parties! We play most all genre's including rock, pop, blues and classic rock. Our goal is to entertain and to get people dancing from the first song we play through our final encore! Unlike other bands, we carefully monitor sound levels so that our audiences can converse but also provide plenty of volume and energy to inspire people to dance.
