Quartette Barbette did a fabulous job of entertaining our fans and making our 4th of July game at PGE Park something special.

Quartette Barbette did a fantastic job our Christmas party. We had hired them for background music, but they truly deserve center stage. We were very impressed with their sound, talent and extensive repertoire. I would definitely ask them back for a future event.

Barbette and her associates played for my twin granddaughters 4th birdthday party. It was absolutely amazing! We had several special requests for songs such as the overture of 1812, timed complete with canons, and it was A++++++++! The Barbette Quartet arrived plenty early to assure me that they were there and set up in time for our event. They dress in black and white as asked to complete our theme. They were very flexible about our cut-ins for announcements, introductions, and thank yous. They even played "Happy Birthday" for a 100 year old resident without previously being told this would happen. Of course, that made the centurion's day! Their music was beautiful, clear in an outdoor setting, and appropriate for our 1920's theme. The quartet blended well with the hired dancers to make a very special 20th anniversary for West Hills Village, a senior retirement community.

Quartette Barbette performed at our wedding ceremony on a beatiful day, on 9/11/10 at The International Rose Garden. Barbette was a delight to comunicate with and the guests enjoyed their lovely music. I would recommend them for any event.

Quartette Barbette played 1940's and 50's tunes for our Auction fundraiser. All of the guests remarked that they enjoyed the music immensely and several got out on the dance floor after dinner. Quartette Barbette helped make our event a success and we would invite them to play for another event in a heartbeat.

I expressed a need for swing and big band sounds for a Gatsby themed dinner. They were to play from 7pm to 10:30pm. At 8:30 they took a break that turned into a 30 minute vanish. I had to track them down at 9pm to have them come back and play music, which turned into the Pink Panther theme and other unsuitable selections. They were not dressed in sets, they brought one of the band members' daughter along, it was very unprofessional. I wouldn't have paid them the final payment for the night if I had known they were this unprepared.

Quartette Barbette had SEVERAL guests come up to us at the end of the evening and compliment us on our music! Sarah Emerson was rude and demeaning from the beginning of the evening even though we performed all the sets of jazz and big band music for their dinner house (quiet jazz set) and then later more dancable music later on as discussed. We were dressed in black slacks and dressy collared shirts. We were puzzled as to why Sarah seemed so unpleasant to us during the entire evening and as stated above, many guests LOVED our music, danced to it and had a great evening. We have had 4 and 5 star ratings consistently from EVERY client on gigmasters prior to this!
