About Vendor

I am essentially a singer/songwriter but my show is based on that style of music from the 70's and 80's. I play acoustic 6 and 12 string, Electric guitar, and play either an all acoustic show or a show with professionally produced custom backing tracks. More commonly my set lists includes both depending on the customers needs. I have over 200 songs to choose from so if I am booked multiple times at a venue you will not hear the same songs. I am always adding new songs as well. I use a top quality Bose sound system designed for optimum listening experience and is able to fill a venue with up to 500 quests so plenty of power for most all events I am seeking. I believe that my audience and workers at the event should be able to carry on a conversation and not have to scream or use sign language to communicate. This is the number one complaint by audience and staff alike...It's too damn loud! It's very common for musicians to play too loud they think the louder they are the better they will sound which is simply not true. My Bose system disperses sound evenly. I don't even need stage monitors. What I am hearing on stage the audience is hearing exactly the same thing. Also, because of the Bose Technology The sound volume in the back of the room and next to the stage is the same which is why I am playing at lower volumes. When the music is too loud it causes a physical change called ear fatigue. You really don't know it's happening to you but you just feel the need to get out of there and are relieved when you do. That hurts business! The workers left behind can get grumpy having to yell all their orders. I have seen it many times. I'm a big believer in sound quality and not sound volume as you can tell. The music I play are great tunes that can be sung along too...or just reminisce about the glory days. Some musician purists frown upon the use of backing tracks and I get that...I would rather be playing with a group for the synergy however with shrinking venue size and budgets I think technology can give you a great alternative. I can practice everyday if I want (and I do). I can take last minute gigs because there is not scheduling conflicts with other band mates. Most of all the event/club owner gets a full pristine sounding band for the cost of a solo act. I think everybody wins. I am prepared for outside and inside events day or night and have everything I need. Point me to the stage and a plug and I'll do the rest. I am very professional, prompt and easy to get along with....give me a try if you "hate me don't pay me" . I believe in taking cues from the audience. Follow their mood and you will win them over. I love interacting with the audience when it's appropriate. I'm not a chatter box. I am all about the music but get the audience involved is critical for their enjoyment . If they are having a good time they will stay and spend more money.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 30, 2017From Saint Louis, MO

David was a pleasure to work with! He was quick to respond and knew a bunch of the songs we requested he play for our wedding ceremony. For the songs he didn't know, he learned them quickly and was able to play them all perfectly. We also asked if he knew anyone who could play the keyboard with him and his associate also did a fantastic job! We would definitely recommend David to anyone who is looking for a wedding ceremony guitarist.

David Edrington:

Thank you Josh! You and Bri were just very pleasant to work with....with so much going on you were on top of all the details. What a beautiful couple inside and out. I wish you the best of luck and all the happiness!
