As well as a solo singer/guitarist act, Acoustic Echoes offers a Flute and Guitar Duo featuring classically trained flutist Stephanie Pack and acoustic guitarist Colin Barley. Their set list encompasses pop, jazz, classical, and even progressive rock influences. The duo is especially suited for wedding ceremonies when you want that special piece of music for the processional, candle lighting, or recessional. While they often play through a quality sound system, the natural balance between flute and acoustic guitar means they can also offer a beautiful unamplified sound for small venues or intimate dining situations.
Colin is also involved with feral cat rescue, socialization, and TNR. Though he is not a non-profit organization, hiring either act helps with his growing cat rescue sanctuary and TNR efforts. We booked Colin to play guitar - both instrumental only and with vocals - for my daughter's wedding at an outside venue in Sedona. We live in Illinois so we communicated with Colin via email. He was super easy to communicate with and responded to all of our inquiries in a very timely manner. My daughter did not request any specific music/songs and we asked Colin to select music that he thought would be appropriate for the event/venue. His performance was outstanding and just what we hoped for. We highly recommend Colin.

Colin arrived promptly at the designated time, setup efficiently and began playing right on time. Also, he offered to accommodate any requests. His music was wonderful, enjoyed by all. We will definitely request to hire him in the future!
