Joseph Dane was born into a musical family and began singing and performing at a very early age. Some of his earliest memories are busking on the street in Japan and performing at schools and orphanages in India and Mexico. Joseph began playing guitar at age 11 and writing songs at age 19. In 2012, he left his corporate job and moved to Mexico to focus full-time on music. While there, he was the lead singer of a classic rock cover band called The Black Sheep and also had a thriving solo career playing in hotels, restaurants, and bars. It was during this time that he honed his musical talent and broadened his repertoire to include over 400 songs in English, Spanish, Portugues, and French. He also gained experience with a large variety of audience and venue types. This is what makes him so versatile and flexible.
