Kyle Mathis began his professional music career at the age of 7. As part of a family band, by age 13 he had opened for entertainers like Waylon Jennings and Conway Twitty, and played venues that he wasn’t old enough to get into otherwise. The band even enjoyed a 4-year residency at the Heart ofTexas Fair & Rodeo in Waco, Texas.
Since the days of the family band, Kyle has played with recording artists such as Gary Morris, Gene Watson, Gary P. Nunn, Janie Fricke, Doug Stone, Tommy Alverson, The Tejas Brothers, Dery lDodd, Max Stalling, Zane Williams, Branded, Sons of the Desert, TC Taylor and Nia Peeples. And, he has opened for numerous artists such as Willie Nelson, George Jones, Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, Pure Prairie League and others.
To say that Kyle knows how to entertain is an understatement. Usingprofessional state of the art sound and harmonizing equipment, you’ll feel like you’re listening to more than a single acoustic act. With a catalog of over 1,600 songs -- from Country to Rock, Rhythm and Blues to Pop -- Kyle is always learning new material which ensures he’s popular and relevant with crowds of all ages.

Kyle is very professional in his communication and performance! I felt secure in my choice as soon as I read his first email. He is friendly to everyone and ready to accommodate requests! He is informative and entertaining throughout his performance with stories and introductions to each song! Many of our residents told him and myself how much they enjoyed his performance! We will definitely book him again in the near future!

Fantastic!! I can’t say enough good things about our event with Kyle. It was a last minute booking, and he was so accommodating and communicative. He was right on time for the event, got set up quickly, and even started a bit early noticing there were people gathering and we needed tunes! People commented several times on how great he sounded, really matched the mood of the party, and had a great playlist. I would think of Kyle again for a party, and recommend him to anyone!

Kyle played for the grand opening of our wine/whiskey bar in Ennis, TX, and was absolutely perfect! He has a wonderful playlist that includes all genres of music, and was an excellent fit for our vibe. Kyle is extremely talented, and very professional and entertaining . We have already booked him again and look forward to having him as a regular!
