I perform as a solo singing guitarist and also as a duo if the venue calls for it.
I play songs from the 50's thru today. From Elvis, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Animals and Zombies all the way to David Bowie, Nickelback, One Republic, 3 Doors Down, Imagine Dragons, Green Day, Plain White T's and Marcy's Playground, Britney Spears and more.
My music is an assortment of Classic Rock, Rock, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Lounge, Alternative and Country.
If it rocks I like to play it. If it's mellow it works. I mix it up to appeal to the greater audience because by doing so there is something for everybody.

Placid Rock changed the words to a song of one of the host's favorite performers to reflect his background and it was spot-on! The guests really enjoyed it, too! The band showed up on early, played throughout the night, and did a nice job.

I hired Placid Rock for a company holiday party at a small venue and was a bit concerned that the trio might overpower the event. Mark was great to work with, took my volume requests to heart, and the party turned out great. It was just what we were looking for, upbeat energy without drowning conversations out. The trio was very talented and Mark especially professional, he took charge to reset equiptment for the toast without prompting, he was on top of it all night so that I could relax and enjoy the party. We would defenitely hire them again.
