Pete Webster Acoustic Guitarist from Portland, ME

My name is Pete Webster and I have been involved with music my whole life. I am a solo guitar player/singer who likes to bring a lot of variety to his act. I play songs from the 60s through 90s and current Top40 and new country songs. I also play a few originals and a handful of songs in Spanish. I started singing in the church choir when I was 10 years old. I was given a drum at the age of 11, tried trumpet at 12 and, then settled on drums for a couple decades. Finally, I would return to the guitar I first got at the age of 16. Since then I have had the opportunity to play many styles of music, with many different, talented, and even famous musicians from Maine to Florida. My goal is to make your party, gathering, or event a happy one for you and your guests! I am a Spanish teacher by day, father of two lovely daughters, and I spend the rest of my time focusing on music and the joy it brings to me and others. I have experience playing in a variety of venues in different places over the years. While I play a lot of solo performances, I have a 'partner in crime' who plays mandolin and fiddle with a soft touch and ear for melody. He switches off between mandolin and fiddle and adds a lot to what I play for songs. We call ourselves 'Peter & the Wolf'. So, if you're looking for a unique duo, we got you covered! If your event or party requires a 'bigger sound', I have a 4-piece or quartet 'Peter & The Wolves' (lead guitar, bass, drums, and myself on rhythm guitar) that can 'kick it up a notch.' This is my full band and is available for larger audiences who may want to shake their booties! Extended lead guitar parts and driving rhythms that are tight characterize the band. My PA can handle almost any size room, and I also use it to play music in between sets or during special moments during your party. I have some colored lights that add some ambience to any venue. I am open to meeting or messaging to gain an understanding of what you'd like to see and hear in advance, and see if we'd be a good fit for you. Please know that I have access to several different musicians who I can choose to match the sound and room in which you're hosting your event.
