**EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONALISM** Over his 20 year professional career, Russ has opened for such acts as Train, Collective Soul, Smashmouth, Blue Oyster Cult, The Flys, The Hunger, Zebra, Fog Hat, Bad Company, Candlebox, The Toadies, Black Crowes, Deftones, Little River Band, The Swinging Medallions, Afroman, Paul Wall, 4 Non Blondes, Pat Benatar, Peter Framptom, Slaughter, Ratt, Sammy Hagar, and many more... Russ was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, greatly influenced by the rich musical culture of the city. He is a seasoned musician spending much of the past two decades touring the U.S. and abroad with a multitude of bands. Over the past few years he has developed a solo acoustic show, incorporating a looping station with percussion and harmonizer to enhance his overall sound. He plays a wide variety of cover songs from the 50's through today. Russell's percussive and technical style on guitar, combined with his soulful and versatile vocals have captivated diverse audiences all around.
