Spencer 2 Dogs Bolejack is an award winning musician and recording artist who has played some of the finest venues in western North Carolina for twenty years. As a drummer he has backed 5 star gigmaster rated bands for weddings, corporate events, private parties and country clubs from Highlands to the Biltmore House, Blowing Rock, and beyond. Now he is available as a solo or duo act bringing back a nostalgia for 70's vocalist classics as well as a wide range of originals. Covers include Crosby Still Nash and Young, the Eagles, America, Gordon Lightfoot, Led Zeppelin, Chris Stapleton, the Beatles, Hank Jr., Jimmy Buffet, Creed, as well as a variety of worship related songs for faith based events. His professional sensitivity to a live audience allows him to provide background music or be an engaging and humorous entertainer with stories and teachings on Appalachian lore and history. Recognizable as a co-host of the hit TV show Hillbilly Blood, Spencer began his music career early, winning first chair in State Honors Band competitions five year in a row. He went on to perform at his graduation in 1995, has been title a "Mozart of the 90s" by the Asheville Conscious Business Association, and repeatedly won the UNC-A Headwaters Creative Arts music category. He wrote for Appalachian State music departments and has played internationally from the Caribbean to Europe, taking a taste of Appalachia wherever he goes. He has taught at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte and performed live with Queen's City Ballet, Kat Williams, and the U.S. Navy Band.
