I am National Old-Time Country Music Hall-of-Famer 'Ragtime' Jack Radcliffe, and I'd love to bring my entertaining, informative and uplifting show to your event.
I provide an informative and witty running commentary to go along with vocal renderings from America's Ragtime, Early Jazz and Country traditions, with lots of opportunities for audience participation. I accompany myself on piano, guitar and fiddle.
I can also provide background piano or violin for your party.
I have successfully performed at libraries, concert halls, private functions and senior residence complexes throughout the United States, including the Dennis, Morrill, Taunton and Walpole libraries in Massachusetts; the Torrington and Bristol libraries in Connecticut; Oak Tree Opry House, Anita, IA; Calliope House, Pittsburgh, PA; the Rodgers library in Hudson, NH, and Foundry Hall in South Haven, MI.
What others have said:
"Thank you, Jack, for a great show. I loved the variety, including some of the familiar songs and some … that I've not heard before. Your pacing was perfect, and I've had nothing but rave reviews."

"Ragtime Jack was a delight! We have had so many compliments and would very much like to have him at our next year's Kentucky Derby Gala, if his schedule allows. His music selection was perfect. He engaged the audience and was a mentor to a young man in attendance. We were very pleased."
– Diana Lane, Strongwater Farm (Tewksbury, MA)

"When Jack sits down at the piano, you don't need a time machine. The world goes into a fugue state James P. Johnson and Fats Waller emerge from the Other Side, and Jack converses with them in an idiom it takes a lifetime to learn. Judging by the recent spate of new old jass he's been making up, I think he's just about got it!"
– Andy Cohen, singer, music historian, and finger-picking guitarist extraordinaire
"'Ragtime' Jack Radcliffe tackles one of the most difficult styles on this planet, and comes up in spades."
– Big Earl Sellar, The Green Man Review
"Thank you so much for playing for our group … you were an integral part of the success of the evening. Your playing was perfect for the venue and occasion. … I very much look forward to working with you again."
