Fawson is a 5 piece band lead by the talented vocalist, Nancy Fawson. The band's mission is to start the party and keep it alive with all our favorite funk, soul, blues classics. Packing a wide range from upbeat dance party sets to tasteful dinner tunes, we've had the pleasure of playing several established venues in the Bay Area including Sweetwater, Hopmonk Novato, San Anselmo's 'Music in The Park', Sam's Anchor Cafe's 'Deckfest', San Rafael's 'May Madness Festival' and habitual evenings in Sausalito's No Name Bar. Festivals are fun, but we love private events just the same. Featured band members are Nancy Fawson [lead singer], Ed Grossman [lead guitar], Sam Huff [rhythm guitar], Matt Kanter [bass], and Jake Demoe [percussion].

Fawson was so great! Nancy's voice was so good!! Beyond being extremely talented, they were very professional and communicative leading up to our event. Their setlist was perfect, with recognizable songs that our guests could dance and sing along to. Before the dance party, they also played a more mellow dinner set which was a nice touch. Nancy Fawson, the band leader, was really nice to work with, and the rest of the band brought a positive and energetic vibe to the party. They also brought their own equipment, so we didn't have to think about sound logistics. 5 out of 5 stars from us on all accounts, and we can't wait to hire them again for our next event!
