The Ryan Bales Band is Southern Rock for the 2000's. The band hails from Austin, Texas and has been paying their dues in venues all over Texas and the midwest since 2005. The current line up of the band has been together for around 2 years and has just released the bands 2nd album "Survival." The sophmore album is the long awaited follow up to the 2006 debut "Revival", which received great reviews , and built a solid foundation for this band's future.
In 2007 the original band split up, leading to a 9 month hiatus for the Ryan Bales Band. In late 07' Ryan formed the new version of the RBB and they started working on songs for their next album. "Survival" really encompasses what this band is, and shows the diversity of their songwriting and range of their band. The new album was written entirely by the current band, and has a lot to offer, from riff driven rock songs, to country, to ballads it gives a great overview to what this band can do.
Made up by lead singer Ryan Bales from Austin. Stephen Gay from Dallas, on guitar. Chad Dorman an Oklahoma native on the other lead guitar. Ben Holt also from Austin on the bass, and Scott Iman on drums from Missouri. The group comes from many different backgrounds and has some very diverse influences which give this band a unique sound and their own take on what southern rock can be.
