In 2019, Maddy was named a Comic to Watch for the New York Comedy Festival. She has appeared in The NY Times, Vulture, and Forbes, all of whom noted her quick wit and ability to make practically anyone laugh. Since March 2020, Maddy has been regularly headlining virtual and outdoor events in hopes of continuing her craft while maintaining COVID-safe practices.
