Chris began playing guitar at the age of twelve and by 17 was teaching and performing. He later learned steel guitar, Japanese shakuhachi flute, steel drum and many different stringed instruments from around the world. He is equal parts entertainer and artist/musical educator. His cover show is one of a kind-it is vocals, electric guitar, and steel drum, and he plays with backing tracks of bass and drums and sounds like a full band. The backing tracks are digital samples of real bass and drums and sound totally realistic. His specialty is Caribbean music, lots of Bob Marley and Harry Belefonte as well as others. He is very diverse playing popular hits from the 40s through the 80s. Other artists include Sinatra, Nat Cole, Beatles, Elvis, the Stones, Stevie Wonder, Buffet, Temptations, Fats Domino, Zeppelin, etc.

Chris had a hard gig. He had to entertain for 25 minutes a piece individual lunch groups, grade 5 through K. He was able to adapt his routine to meet these changing age groups. I would definitely recommend Chris, he was fun, interesting and engaged with the kids very well indeed.

Chris provided a fine evening of entertainment for our group. He was most accommodating with regard to set up, and music requests. We did not have the most ideal location for him to set up and perform, but he worked with what we had and did a good job of giving us what we wanted. And, although he is talented enough to play many types of instruments and music, he was very accommodating with our limited music genre requests. He did exactly what we asked of him, and everyone in attendance was very pleased with his performance. We would definitely hire him again.
